# CLI changelog

## Overview

Release notes for the [`shipd` CLI](/reference/cli), newest first.

### Added

* Loads native `shipd.config.go` flag definitions directly, without a JSON export.
* `shipd pull` preserves the Go source format.
* `shipd types gen --language go` generates Go accessors, variant constants, and defaults. Go input selects Go output by default after `push` and `pull`, unless `typesLanguage` overrides it.
* `shipd pull` writes gofmt-clean Go. When generating Go accessors, it checks that every flag key becomes a valid, unique Go identifier before writing anything. Non-ASCII keys produce distinct exported identifiers.
* Loading `shipd.config.go` without Go installed explains how to install it, and compiler errors point at `shipd.config.go`.
